Full Job Description
- Prepare work for our customer and pre-brief drivers at the Start of shift
- Co-ordinate the transport operations on site to meet both customer and company expectations
- Liaise with line management to ensure the effective use of Customer vehicles / subcontractors minimising the cost impact to the business
- Daily Report of customer KPIs and volume calculations
- Execute customers plan and make changes where necessary to limit stock outs
- Ensure that all drivers are compliant with the working time directive regulations and that any accidents/incidents are logged and communicated to management and customer in a timely manner
- First line of communication for the driver workforce.
A good understating of fast-paced transport teams - Excellent communication skills - you'll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders
- Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook

Here at XPO, we take our people seriously. We're looking for a talented Transport Operator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern covering the Night shift. This is for our contract based in Thurrock.
Pay, benefits and more:
We're looking to offer a salary of up to £28,500 plus a night shift allowance of £2,400 per annum.
