Teaching Assistant 2b, Full Time, required from 1st September 2024

Thorneyholme RC Primary school is a beautiful, small primary school at the heart of the picture perfect village of Dunsop Bridge (20 minutes outside of Clitheroe). We currently have 18 children on roll aged between 3 and 11. Our children are amazing, love learning and having fun. They are also polite and very well behaved. Thorneyholme is part of a new collaboration of two schools and we work closely with St Mary’s RC Primary in Sabden.

This is an exciting time for our two schools as we learn how to work together to provide the best for our pupils, parents and Staff. Thorneyholme is a magical place and an important part of its community. All the Staff are very dedicated to the children and the school and would love to welcome a new team member. The whole school is proud of its Catholic Ethos and we really do live our Mission Statement of ‘Together we love, dream and believe under the umbrella of God”.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, caring, fun-loving and hardworking Teaching Assistant 2b, to join our happy Catholic school and make a positive contribution to our school. The successful applicant will work in our mixed-age infant class (EYFS & KS1) and work alongside the class teacher to provide support to help all pupils reach their potential.

The successful applicant will:

  • Liaise with teachers to support pupils and raise achievement.

    English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent - Grade C or above, or 4 or above)
