Full Job Description

  • Teach swim lessons to individuals or groups of all ages and skill levels

  • Develop and implement lesson plans based on the needs and abilities of each student

  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all participants

  • Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills

  • Monitor and ensure the safety of all swimmers during lessons

  • Maintain accurate records of attendance and progress of swimmers

  • Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety practices

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively teach and interact with students of all ages

  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities

  • Must be able to pass a background check


    • Essential criteria:
  • ASA/Swim England/ STA Level 1


    • Desirable criteria:
  • ASA/Swim England Level 2

  • STA Level 2 Award/Certificate

  • Level 2 Baby and Pre-School, swim teaching: 1 year (preferred)

    Pay: £13.00-£17.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 2 - 40 per week,
