Full Job Description

Here at Serco we work with Asylum Accommodation and Support Services to assist individuals through the asylum system, which includes providing them with temporary accommodation. AASC contracts offer a range of improvements, with a particular focus on assisting individuals through the asylum system. They will ensure that vulnerable asylum seekers have access to the support they need and set clear requirements on the standard and condition of accommodation.

You will be a key member of the Contingency Service Delivery team, this role is crucial to ensure service users' needs are met within agreed timeframes in accordance with Serco's contractual obligations to UK Visa's & Immigration, in relation to accommodation (and transport) for service users.

You will be required to build effective relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally across the Asylum Accommodation and Support Services contract to ensure excellent service delivery standards. You will Maintain data integrity of the IT systems to support performance reporting. You will be required to Produce reports, briefings and information updates to a high standard within limited timeframe.

Some of your other accountabilities will include:

  • Receiving and processing accommodation requests within contractual KPI timescales

  • Manage the demand and capacity of properties to ensure targets are met

  • Liaise with the authority to manage the service user journey

  • Ensure all responses to the authority requests are completed within contractual KPI timescales

  • Liaise with property negotiators to understand the availability of new properties to manage your designated patches

  • Work alongside the field, maintenance and transport teams to ensure internal SLAs & contractual KPIs are met

  • Maintain customer relationships

  • Manage personal workload as well as working alongside your buddy and supporting with their workload when required

    You will need the ability to successfully engage and create successful working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will demonstrate effective time management skills and ability to manage and deliver a variety of priority tasks, prioritising own workload to meet specific timescales without prompt. Lastly, you need Strong ICT skills.
