Full Job Description

The Programme Management Office (PMO) has been set up in order to provide the organisation with a multi-disciplined resource to support the development and delivery of projects and programmes.

This Project Manager role will provide expert project management support on a portfolio of projects, identified as part of the Public Health Dietetic Team.

The role will require the development of plans, documentation and guidance for relevant project teams together with ensuring that communication is maintained between all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, organisational procedures are adhered to, objectives are identified and met, and benefits realised from implementation.

The Project Manager's prime responsibility is to ensure that assigned projects produce the required deliverables within the defined quality, time and cost constraints and to facilitate full realisation of benefits defined in the Business Case through the application of project management methodology and techniques.

The role sits within Nutritiona nd DIetetic services but will be supported by the Project Management Office who will provide support to the PMO work programme.

In addition the post holder will be required to support the named service lead for specific projects assigned to the and to line manage the Band 5 Assistant Project Manager.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
