  • As a key member of the Global Marine & Offshore Services (GMOS) team, you'll play a crucial role in managing inside sales orders for spare parts and supporting equipment repair contracts. Your responsibilities include:

  • Efficiently executing sales orders for spare parts to UK and international navy and commercial marine markets.

  • Managing and tracking parts sales activities to existing and new customers, maximizing sales growth.

  • Forecasting and reporting revenue and sales metrics for financial reporting.

  • Collaborating with the Client Service Manager to develop spare parts processes and maintain excellent customer relations.


  • What You'll Do:

  • In this role, you'll handle a variety of tasks across sales quoting, ordering, procurement, and customer support:

  • Prepare timely quotations in response to spares and repairs enquiries using the Oracle Order Entry system.

  • Proactively follow up on quotations to maximize sales growth.

  • Manage and track all orders, providing regular updates to customers on order status and delivery forecasts.

  • Assist with raising invoices promptly and reconcile any invoice queries.

  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by promptly supporting customers with spare parts quotations and assisting with order processing and dispatch.

    Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-centric attitude.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and adaptability to new systems and procedures.

  • Numerical proficiency and experience in dealing with figures/calculations.

  • Background in mechanical engineering and/or building services business is desirable.

  • Previous sales experience and account management skills are essential.

  • Proactive, self-disciplined, and able to work independently.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
