Procurement Manager

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our Procurement team in Leavesden.

What you'll do:

• Increase Skanska profitability by best value procurement.


• Minimise the cost of subcontracts, materials and plant.


• Participate in the implementation of strategic procedural and practical changes to increase productivity and performance.


• Comply with Skanska procedures and policy on procurement including participation in audits (external/internal)


• Preparation of enquiry documents and tender review sheets. Obtaining quotations for subcontract packages, materials, and plant as required to to meet tender return dates.
  
  Extensive experience of procurement management on significant contracts


• Working knowledge of contract law


• Member of a professional institution


• Degree level qualification in a relevant subject


• CIPS or working towards
