Full Job Description

In this key role you would oversee all prefoam duties, including expansion of raw materials and production of block mould requirements. Role holds high responsibility, ensuring materials are produced in-line with production demands. EPS Material is taken from its raw state during expansion, then are moulded into blocks.

Position will be PERMANENT WEEKEND DAY SHIFTS 6am-6pm (24hrs) plus additional weekday shifts to cover holidays/sickness/etc. (40hrs/wk basic)

General and Task Management

  • Bring required materials using a fork lift truck from stores to production.

  • Record production either through paperwork or data entry.

  • Work towards production targets.

  • Computer literate and basic maths skills essential

  • Liaise with any department ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Undertake continuous training and development.

  • Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors.


  • Relationship Management
  • Work as part of the Howden team, effective communication between site supervision and management is role essential. Support and implement continuous improvement and procedure improvement.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.

  • Ensure an effective interface with other departmental staff is maintained.

  • Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and demand of needed products and materials and advise others of any impact.
