Full Job Description

  • Liaising with practice requests through the helpdesk system.


  • Adding new requests to all centrally managed systems.


  • Analyses and interpret data from our PMS' to keep them in sync.


  • Coordinating with suppliers to keep pricing and stock up to date.


  • Assisting in migrating practices onto the group PMS.


    • What you'll be doing:

  • Managing helpdesk tickets relating to Code Entry and PACMan.


  • Adding new data elements to Merlin.


  • Running and monitoring reports as to the synchronisation of all databases.


  • Making corrections to existing data where necessary.


  • Close working with the Pricing and Code Entry Teams to assist them with other projects, including delivery of training on code usage and systems.


  • Assisting in migrating practices onto the group PMS. This may involve attending workshops or visiting a practice.

    Experience working in a veterinary role to be able contextualise our data.


  • Keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.


  • Ability to work on your own without direct supervision.


  • Excellent communication skills as the role requires frequent interactions with other departments and suppliers, building relationships with stakeholders.


  • A beginner to intermediate level in Excel.

  • In practice experience of the IVC Practice Management System (Merlin or Voyager), with responsibility for code management.


  • Experience of using PACMan.


  • Experience in Excel comparison formulae such as vlookup/xlookup.


  • Hold a UK driving licence.

  • The aim is that all items adopt consistent formatting principles and that the item library is synchronised across all our systems. This underpins our strategy on insight driven decision making and pricing, as well as keeping the system easier to use in practice.
