Pathology Quality Manager

The hours are full time, notionally between 08:30 and 17:00 Monday to Friday, although some flexibility may be required. As a service we are willing to consider either a permanent position or a fixed term 12 month secondment. The post holder will be a key member of the Pathology Team and will ensure compliance with the standards set out within the UKAS ISO 15189:2022 Standard 5.4.2 and will have delegated responsibility and authority ensuring that processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented, and maintained. The post holder will ensure Pathology becomes progressively more effective in quality terms and meets all regulatory requirements including the Blood Safety and Quality Regulations and compliance with the Human Tissue Act.
