Full Job Description

As a Maintenance Handy Person serving clients across the Liverpool City Region, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and functionality of various facilities. Your role will encompass a range of tasks, including water temperature checks, general maintenance, and assisting the rest of the team in planned preventative maintenance activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Water Temperature Checks:

  • Conduct regular water temperature checks at client sites across the Liverpool City Region.

  • Ensure that water temperature complies with regulatory standards and promptly address any deviations.


  • Handyman Jobs:
  • Undertake a variety of handyman tasks at across various contracts.

  • Perform plumbing repairs, electrical fixes, and general building maintenance as required.

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete tasks efficiently to minimise disruption.


  • Assisting in Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM):
  • Support planned preventative maintenance activities, such as filter cleaning and equipment inspections.

  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all PPM tasks are completed on schedule and to a high standard.


  • General Maintenance Tasks:
  • Perform general maintenance tasks at client sites.

  • Proactively identify maintenance needs and address them promptly to maintain the appearance and functionality of facilities.

    Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a facilities management or compliance environment.

  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.

  • Excellent practical skills with the ability to perform a variety of maintenance and handyman tasks.

  • Proficient in using relevant tools and equipment safely.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.

  • Flexibility to travel between client sites across the Liverpool City Region.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Right to work in the UK

    £12.00-13.50 / Hr Depending on experience
