LIBRARY MANAGER

We are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic individual to the post of Library Manager to work in partnership with the fellow Library Manager.

Responsibilities of the post include:

The development and promotion of the library and its resources

Facilitating and running a reading scheme with pupils

Planning and delivering library class inductions to Year 7 pupils

5 GCSE's grade A

• - C (or equivalent) including English and maths

Essential Experience

Ability to relate well to children and young people

Ability to supervise and assist children and young people

Confidence to work with children and in groups of varying sizes

Good knowledge and love of literature for children and young people
Desirable Experience

Experience of working with children and young people in a relevant classroom/service environment

Experience of working in a library or learning resource centre
