Full Job Description

  • To take action and support the setting in delivering the EYFS learning curriculum

  • To teach children, offering an appropriate level of support and stimulating play experiences

  • Help plan, set up, carry out and pack away daily programme

  • Ensure children are kept safe and you understand when to follow child protection procedures

    Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Problem solving skills, Team working, Initiative, Non judgemental, Patience, GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade 3) Desired, We run a forest school session, so a passion for the outdoors is helpful. Undertaking essential training including but not limited to first aid and safeguarding., Early years practitioner


  • Level 2 (GCSE)

    We are a small charity run pre-school in a beautiful rural community. We offer childcare from Monday to Friday from 7:30am until 6pm 51 weeks of the year. During term time we are open to pre-schoolers and we run a breakfast and tea club for the local primary school children. During the school holidays we run a holiday club for all children age 2-11years. We have amazing indoor and outdoor spaces and are able to use the sports hall in the community centre.

    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

  • Working week

  • Monday to Friday (4 days per week) Hours vary between 7.25am to 6.25pm Term time and Holidays, occasional evening. No weekends., You could reduce your training time, or finish your apprenticeship faster, if you have relevant prior learning or experience. This could be relevant:
