Full Job Description
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials using hand or power tools.
- Build or assemble wooden fixtures and structures, including cabinets, doors, windows, and furniture, according to design plans.
- Install fixtures and structures, ensuring they are level, plumb, and aligned correctly.
- Perform finishing work, such as sanding, staining, and varnishing surfaces.
- Repair or replace damaged or defective wooden fixtures and structures.
- Inspect and ensure the quality of finished products, making adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and other construction team members to ensure projects are completed according to specifications and timelines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
