A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Hardware Design Engineers to support the design, integration and validation of test system hardware solutions under guidance to join our highly skilled and dynamic Test Equipment Design Team. Your role will be to support and carry out design activities in line with specifications and to carry out standard technical investigations with support from Principal Engineers.

You will report and escalate any technical problems / issues, support development of TE through the product lifecycle, provide support to process improvement activities, participate in bid activities and facilitate the development of successful bids., We respect new perspectives and experiences, and we value our collaborative ways of working. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

  • Practical working knowledge of test needs and techniques in support of product life cycle development.

  • Experience of design Proving and performance testing during development (Preferential)

  • Experience of Environmental and EMC testing during qualification (Desirable)

  • Strong document writing skills associated with TE hardware design needs.

    Salary: Circa £40,000 depending on experience
