Full Job Description

The role of the Furniture Finisher/Sprayer is working as part of a small team where you will be inspecting, preparing, spraying, sanding, and polishing bespoke pieces of furniture as part of our manufacturing process.

You will work closely and directly with our cabinet makers and project managers to achieve an exceptional finish on bespoke items of furniture for marine, residential and aviation projects which are delivered to clients globally., Working with a team to discuss finishing and colour requirements.

Inspecting furniture, removing imperfections, and repairing defects.

Sanding and smoothing the furniture in preparation for finishing.

Undergoing a selection process to choose the correct finish to apply (such as lacquers).

Inspecting final furniture items to ensure an exceptional standard of finish has been achieved.

Personal Skills

Working with a team to discuss finishing and colour requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

This role is designed for an experienced furniture finishers or sprayer who has experience with all types of solvent, water-based paint, wood stains, lacquers, and other related products such as high gloss, burnished paint, lacquer finishes and metal resins.

The individual will have excellent in-depth knowledge of the outlined staining and finishing techniques.

The ability to understand and interpret technical drawings.,

  • Joinery: 1 year (preferred)

  • Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)

  • CSCS (preferred)
