Full Job Description

St Clare Hospice is a charity that provides specialist palliative care to patients and families in West Essex and the East Hertfordshire borders.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for the hospice in our busy fundraising department. You will support the Income Generation teams Supporter Communication Programme by providing a comprehensive day to day administration support for the Fundraising office.

This role will also involve working as a Receptionist, ensuring the highest standard of customer care is given to hospice visitors, patients, staff and volunteers., To support the Fundraising team by providing accurate and timely day to day supporter, donation and financial administration support

To provide an excellent supporter experience and stewardship for all supporters, staff and volunteers by building strong relationships across the hospice to generate maximum support for Fundraising campaigns and events

To ensure that all activity correctly reflects and promotes the hospice brand, ethos, mission and values

To support the Fundraising team with hitting income budget targets through the timely processing of donations and thank you letters, and raising awareness of our campaigns and activities with visitors, staff and volunteers

To meet and thank supporters who bring donations directly in to the hospice

To cover Reception ensuring the highest standard of customer care is given to hospice visitors, patients, staff and volunteers

If you are friendly, professional, have excellent customer service skills, IT literate, methodical with strong attention to detail we would like to hear from you.

£25,354 to £27,302 a year Includes 5% High Cost Area allowance
