Full Job Description

On behalf of our Leicester/ Leicestershire Client, we are seeking to recruit ELT Admin Support, This is a full-time, term time only position 37 hours per week. Working hours are 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday & 8.30am-4.00pm on Fridays.

To provide high level confidential administration support to a portfolio of senior leaders and principals in a school and education setting.

To be proactive in all aspects of the role, anticipating requirements, using personal initiative and displaying excellent interpersonal skills at all times.

Main duties and responsibilities

Working self-sufficiently, proactively and with guidance from the Central administration manager where necessary, the post holder will carry out the following tasks:

Develop a comprehensive and dynamic understanding of the school and colleges and objectives and proactively assist the senior leaders in all areas of their portfolio.

Provide support to Educational Leaders and full secretarial services for meetings and committees as required, coordination of all follow-up work, and administrative support for portfolio activities.

Create complex and highly detailed travel and accommodation arrangements

Act upon matters needing attention during the absence of the Leaders and delegate to colleagues, as appropriate.

Create and maintain operational records and files, both paper-based and electronic (spreadsheets and databases).

To maintain diaries, calendars and itineraries for senior leaders

To respond to all telephone calls, emails and post of senior leaders in a timely manner

Adhere, at all times, to the highest standards of professional conduct and behaviour as outlined within the university Code of Conduct.

· To provide effective and efficient administration to senior leaders and school/college principals

In line with KSIE (Keeping Children Safe in Education), you will need to have an up-to-date and registered DBS and evidence of Safeguarding training., Significant experience of providing admin support or equivalent support at executive level

Educated to A Level or equivalent

Experience of complex diary management in an environment of rapid change

Significant experience of arranging complex travel itineraries including visas, insurance and location-specific requirements

Proven ability to manage conflicting demands whilst maintaining deadlines and professionalism

Ability to collate and summarise information, providing succinct and accurate briefings to a wide range of senior stakeholders, recommending appropriate solutions as required

Ability to correspond and communicate at a high level, demonstrating excellent levels of accuracy, comprehension and attention to detail

Reliable and self-motivated, able to work under limited supervision

Formal committee servicing experience

Ability to provide a service to a diverse range of people to promote good relations and equality
