Full Job Description

The Emergency Services Network (ESN) is a huge strategic priority for BT and our commitment to do the best for our customer and our country. ESN will be the most advanced Emergency Services Network in the world - once again, BT/EE will be helping Britain to be a world leader in mobile.

This is a key role working with the Home Office and 3 Emergency Services (3ES) Users to ensure the Emergency Services have operationally acceptable coverage to facilitate their transition to ESN. This role owns and manages key relationships with 3rd party site providers to ensure we can deliver the coverage needed whilst generating revenue for BT. You will support the commercial acquisition and delivery of all ESN incremental coverage solutions and ensure that the overall strategic benefits of ESN can be delivered.

This role could be considered for part time, job share and compressed hours workers.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting internal relationships, coordinating tasks with Delivery, Deployment, Products and Procurement functions across BT Technology and BT Enterprise

  • Coordinating tasks to ensure successful mobilisation for ESN requirements

  • Support Customer relationships such as the Home Office and ensuring Coverage Services delivery activities operate on time and in budget according to customer requirements

  • Supporting Initial Impact Assessments (IIA) and Technical Impact Assessments (TIA) for coverage services requirements and ensuring best practice processes and procedures are in place to minimise the costs whilst delivering the quality required for ESN.

  • The successful candidate must be willing to undergo BPSS Level Government Screening which ideally requires residence in the UK for a minimum of 3 years

  • You have managed projects/programmes or the coordination of projects using suppliers

  • You have worked within the Mobile telecoms sector and have a good knowledge of Mobile Telecoms technology, ideally where the customer has been the Home Office

  • Able to manage financials and commercial aspects of a project, including managing risks

  • Good I.T skills, with the ability to proficiently use all Microsoft Office applications
