Full Job Description

As a Club Assistant, your role includes supervising the children, ensuring their safety at all times, engaging with them in aspects of play and conversation, setting up activities for children to optionally take part in, meet and greet parents and provide them with feedback on their child's time at the club and food preparation. The aim is to be having fun in a safe environment!

We would like to appoint a confident, proactive and creative individual to work alongside our team, as a Club Assistant, in our before and after school club. The ideal person would have some experience of working within a school, play work or childcare setting. You must be passionate and enthusiastic, able to create a fun and creative working environment for children. A Level 2 or 3 qualification in play work or childcare or willing to work towards this qualification would be an advantage, but not essential. Paediatric first aid and food hygiene qualifications are desirable and the successful candidate must be willing to undertake further essential training. Our friendly team will support you and training will be provided.

The post is for 8.75 hours per week: Monday - Tuesday 3.00pm - 6.00pm and Wednesday 3.15pm - 6pm: (term time only including training days). This post will be a permanent contract.
