Full Job Description

As a key member of our friendly office team, your purpose will be to serve our current and prospective customers by ensuring customer orders are processed and delivered as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Hours

Full Time: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 08:30 - 16:30.

We will consider Part Time for the right candidate. PT hours must cover core hours 09:00-15:00 Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately processing and dispatching orders.

  • Arranging logistics for orders. This involves high attention to detail at speed, processing information on several online systems and communicating with customers, colleagues and logistics providers.

  • Liaising between customers and our production team to provide a high-quality service.

  • Responding to and filtering enquiries in a warm and welcoming manner, whether by phone or email to existing and prospective customers.

  • General Ad-Hoc office adminstration duties as required.

    We are looking for a candidate who possesses excellent attention to detail, while maintaining a high level of productivity and is passionate about delivering great customer service., Previous experience in a Customer Service role is critical, ideally within a Manufacturing company.

  • Excellent attention to detail, whilst maintaining a high level of productivity.

  • Experience in an administrative role.

  • Great people skills and desire to put the customer first.

  • Excellent personal organisation skills to deal with a high volume of administrative tasks and competing priorities.

  • Perseverance and ability to juggle uncertainty and customer expectations.

  • You will need to be confident with computer skills, and confident with learning new systems and software. with a high level of accuracy and productivity.

  • An open attitude and willingness to continue learning.

  • Knowledge and experience of working with Microsoft packages (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)

  • A flexible approach to work, enthusiastically working as part of a close-knit team, assisting customers and colleagues.


  • Desirable
  • Experience in a logistics role.

  • Experience using SAP

  • Experience with using online systems, Administrative or Customer Service: 2 years (preferred)

    Excellent on the job training provided by line manager with a step-by-step guide. Support from other colleagues.


  • Holidays

    31 days paid holiday per calendar year, including public holidays, rising to 36 with length of service.

    Salary: £25,500 per annum based on a 37.5 hours per week
