Full Job Description

· To deputise for the manager in their absence.

· Record and report performance.

· Raise or contain issues.

· Maintain and improve standards.

· To make sure the behaviour of employees is in line with code of conduct and employee handbook.

· Identify training needs and requirements and train employees to the required standard.

· Ensure that all relevant documentation is completed in line with company policies & procedures, in particular: - Clock cards in Mitrefinch, updating of output boards and other KPI information where requested. Agreeing holiday requests and ensuring holidays are taken not compromising business needs. Report all absences and ensure Return to Work forms are completed on the day the employee returns to work. All relevant documents are uploaded in Mitrefinch.

· Knowledge of Company products, procedures and processes.

· Knowledge and appreciation of Quality assurance procedures.

· Previous experience gained in Production area / a factory environment.

· Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques.

· Good decision-making skills.

· Good problem-solving skills.

· Ability to adapt to and initiate/implement change.

· Maintains confidentiality when required.

· Understanding of Employee Handbook.

· Able to use Outlook, Epicor, Excel and Word and Texweb where applicable.

· Good verbal and written communication skills.

· Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.
