Blaster and Yard Operative

Aqueduct Marina is offering the exciting opportunity to join our award-winning marina located in 100 acres of picturesque Cheshire countryside. We are looking for a new Grit Blaster and Yard Operative to join our expanding operations team.

This role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work within our diverse operations team, mainly in the painting department. For the right candidate, there will also be the opportunity to experience a wide range of skills from a boat moving through to engineering and welding with training provided as required.

Role Purpose

· Blasting boats and other items as required

· Assist with key boat yard activities such as Boat moves, Hull Painting and General tidying of the yard and workshop areas.

Daily Tasks

· Blasting boats and other items as required

· Boat handling, launching and yard movements.

· Boat lifts including gantry lifts.

· High pressure washing off hulls.

· Preparing boats for painting

· 'Blacking' boat hulls

· Tidying around the marina site including workshops and yard areas

· Carrying out basic health and safety checks

· Completing regular maintenance activities

· Completing a daily time sheet.
