BI Developer

Cooper Parry growth is booming and we are looking to bring a new Power BI Developer into the team to help push us forward in all things data.
This is a brand-new role in our rapidly expanding Platforms Team. There is lots to get stuck into as you work closely with colleagues across the wider tech space, delivering insights and surface data in new and innovative ways to further enhance our customer value proposition.
What you'll be doing…

• Designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports to meet the needs of our internal and external stakeholders


• Collaborating with internal teams to gather requirements and understand business objectives


• Analysing and interpreting data to identify trends, patterns, and insights


• Optimising data models and queries for performance and efficiency


• Identifying, gathering and analysing data… translating it into easy-to-understand charts, tables and reports to showcase the benefit of accurate data and insight


• Working with different areas of the business to understand their reporting needs


• Keeping up to date on the latest Power BI developments, features and best practices
  
  We are looking for someone with a strong background in data analysis and visualization, with a focus on creating insightful and actionable reports for our internal users and clients.

With that in mind, you will need to be able to proactively engage and manage relationships with stakeholders and peers with a passion and enthusiasm for customer satisfaction. You will also need…

• Experience of Microsoft Dataverse, Azure Data Factory, Power Query and / or equivalent SQL / ETL tools and technologies


• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role


• Strong knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices


• Proficiency in SQL, DAX, and other data manipulation languages


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
