Automotive Service Advisor

We are looking for a confident automotive service advisor to be responsible for the daily operation of the service reception. You will assist the service manager and deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers.

Particular areas of responsibility will be:

• Support and maintain customer service schedules, MOT and servicing bookings.


• Liaise with customers and internal departments to ensure all work is authorised


• Ensure a steady and realistic flow of available work through the workshop


• Audit job cards and associated service documentation for accuracy.


• Adhere to internal and external procedures


• Sourcing and ordering of parts


• Ensure Health & Safety and safe work practices are met at all times within this position


• Liaise with the departments to organise servicing and repair work.
  
  Be willing to learn and adapt quickly


• Have a flexible approach to working hours


• Be comfortable working with computers/PC knowledge


• Have excellent organisational skills


• Have good customer service and a friendly manner


• Be a team player with the ability to work unsupervised


• Have basic knowledge of motor vehicles


• Be able to work calmly and professionally in a customer facing role.
