Assistant Harvest Manager

We are looking for highly motivated and competent Assistant Harvest Manager to join our team at New Forest Fruit Company, based in East Boldre, Hampshire.

The key responsibilities are:

· Overseeing harvest on multiple sites - strawberries, asparagus, blueberries.

· Coordination of the field harvesting operations.

· Working together with Production Manager and Husbandry Manager therefore ability to work together and good communication skills are essential.

· Plan daily operations with Production Manager, Team Leaders and Supervisors.

· You will be responsible for day-to-day cooperation with other management of the farm.

· You will coach, mentor and train Team Leaders and Supervisors to reach the desire level of skills-hands on approach needed.

· You need to ensure picking quality and quantity is achieved as per budget.

· Good computer skills necessary to maintain databases and excel spreadsheets.

· Assist other departments of the business -packhouse, husbandry, irrigation, glasshouse and farm operations.
