Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Information Governance Team at Powys Teaching Health Board for an Administrative Support Officer to work full-time supporting the team.

The post holder needs to be motivated and an enthusiastic team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to multitask, work under pressure and prioritise workload.

The post holder will play a key role in supporting the organisation's obligation to respond to a variety of access to information requests made under the Freedom of Information Act and data protection legislation. Assist in the preparation of reports/presentations, communicate complex and sensitive information with a wide range of staff internally and externally, receive, sort and prioritise mails and emails, redirecting as appropriate.

The successful candidate will need to possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and be able to work to strict deadlines. They should be experienced in producing and distributing a variety of documents including; minutes, agendas, letters, and be able to analyse and interpret information.
