Full Job Description

We are currently seeking an experiencedAccounts Assistantto join a well-established, rapidly growing family-run SME based inWorcester.As an Accounts Assistant you will be joining the Finance team and be responsible for the day-to-day accounting transactions of all entities within the group and assist the Finance Manager in the month end management accounts process.,

  • Purchase ledger invoice processing and supplier payments.

  • Sales ledger invoice processing and allocation of receipts.

  • Bank and credit card reconciliations.

  • Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries relating to suppliers and customers.

  • Processing expense requests.

  • Ensuring data on the accounts & ERP systems are up to date and accurate.

  • Liaising with internal departments and offices.

  • Liasing with third party providers, clients and suppliers.

  • Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.

    Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant in a fast paced B2B environment.

  • In-depth experience of Sales and Purchase ledger work.

  • Experience and understanding of both Supplier and Customer management and communication.

  • Experience of all aspects of daily banking.

  • Highly proficient in working with ERP/Finance Systems - ideally MS Business Central

  • Good experience with IT including Microsoft Office & Excel.

  • Excellent time and task management, along with good organisational skills.

  • Drive, determination, flexibility, initiative, diligent approach.

  • Team player with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.

    Salary: 25,000 - 30,000 annum (based on experience)

    Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (can be flexible on start time)
