Full Job Description

The extent of your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing IT hardware and software faults

  • Logging customer incidents and requests

  • Working alongside our 2nd Line and Field Services Team to escalate calls as required

  • Ensuring customer calls are managed efficiently

  • Offering advice and support to customers in a professional manner

  • Work within a small team as part of a wider service delivery function

  • Focus on developing your skills with support of other team members

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic and expanding Technical IT Services Division. You'll become part of our Technical Support Team, working with Service Desk engineers and consultants, supporting our customers, providing a first class service, gaining vital knowledge, skills, and experience along the way.

    In this role you will be the first point of contact for our customers, so will need to be a clear confident and professional communicator. You will play a key role in the team meeting the high level of service we strive to deliver. This role will give you exposure to our impressive portfolio of IT and cyber security products and services putting you at the cutting edge of the latest technologies. And you'll benefit from our Hybrid working policy so you can enjoy the blend of both office and home working.,
  • Great customer service skills

  • Knowledge of technology / IT terms and issues

  • Confident communicator via email, telephone and face to face

  • Desire to learn new products and technologies

  • Can-do attitude

  • Possess a logical approach to troubleshooting

  • Previous experience of working within a busy service desk / customer response environment

  • Microsoft Windows 10 knowledge/awareness

  • Microsoft Office knowledge/awareness

  • Active Directory Administration

  • Office 365 knowledge/awareness including email support

  • Familiar with LAN (and WAN) technologies
