TOUR GUIDES FOR THE PAINTED ROOM

Ledbury Town Council is looking to recruit Tour Guides to join our small friendly team to showcase Ledbury’s 16th Century Painted Room.

The roles are open to applicants who may be looking to undertake either some voluntary work or who would prefer to be a permanent member of the team.

The Painted Room is open from 1 March – 31 October between the hours of 11.00am and 4.30pm on Monday to Saturday and between 1.00pm and 4.00pm on Sunday. Flexible hours are offered to suit (part or full time) with no lone working.

There is also the opportunity to participate in events during the year such as Heritage Open Days (HODs), World Book Day, Children’s Activity Days, giving talks to small coach parties, offering tourist information as well as giving visitors the opportunity to visit the Market House.

The salary will be the National Minimum Wage and full training will be given.
