Full Job Description
- Working with colleagues to produce functional, effective, and efficient code using JavaScript, Node.JS or Python for web development purposes considering the User EXperience in your designs
- Design and maintain the architecture of various applications and components
- Utilise your skillset to determine the most useful programming language for a given task
- Actively test features and problem solve to ensure efficient running of code
- Collaborate strategically with colleagues to review code and ensure optimal performance
- Build and test APIs
You are a confident and communicative person, able to clearly understand the needs of stakeholders and communicate effectively about limitations and successes. Having worked in an environment with key internal stakeholders, you will feel confident in understanding the needs of the company and turning that into usable content. Most importantly you will thrive in an environment where continual learning and development is the key to success., JavaScript/Node.JS or Python (Web Development) - Experience with both front-end and back-end
- Frontend: React, Vue, Next, Angular, HTMX, Svelte
- Back-end:
- - Python: (Django (preferred), Flask, FastAPI)- If Node.JS: (Express (preferred), Koa, Meteor, Sails)
- Comfortable interacting with SQL databases and REST API's
- Experience with cloud native technologies in GCP (preferred), AWS or Azure
- Database design
- Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment
- Docker
