Warehouse Operative / Relief Delivery Driver

We are seeking a conscientious and hard working general warehouse operative/relief delivery driver. This person will be responsible for various tasks related to the day to operation of the business.

Duties:
- Safe loading and unloading of vehicles

- Good upkeep and housekeeping duties required to keep the warehouse clean and safe for all staff.
- Performing daily stock counting
- Adhering to Health and safety regulations

- Oversee the efficient running of the warehouse and control of stock levels, goods in, goods out and operation of the stock control software

- Delivery and collection of items from/to supplier or customers

- Manual handling of products

- Labouring and general duties as required

- Excellent customer service

Previous experience working in a similar role such as labourer, warehouse operative, delivery driver is desirable but not essential
- Proficiency in using forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Capable of lifting heavy objects

- Basic knowledge of general and also vehicle maintenance is preferred

- Adaptable and flexible approach to work

- Excellent communication skills

- Good written/verbal, IT & numeric skills

· The successful candidate will hold a Full UK driving licence
