Van Driver

Perfect Personnel are recruiting for an experienced 3.5T Luton Van Driver on behalf of our client a leading manufacturer, based in Stourbridge , West Midlands. This role is available immediately.

The role will be on a Permanent Contract

With this being a customer facing role having excellent customer service skills is essential as staff are the first point of contact for the business. Due to the nature of the product some heavy lifting is involved.

Key Duties & Responsibilities?

• Delivering frames & doors


• Complete daily defect forms and inspection of your vehicle and report any issues to Management immediately.


• load your routed orders onto the vehicle according to company specification when needed.


• You will be provided a set delivery route each day (Usually 6 drops per day)


• Maintain ongoing communication with Transport office


• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs.


• Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer


• Cleaning of and day to day vehicle maintenance, ensuring the vehicle is always ready to drive


• Keep accurate records of deliveries and customer authorisation, ensuring all documentation is submitted in a timely manor


• Follows pre-planned route accurately without deviation from set course.


• Informs management of any obstructions to making safe, efficient deliveries on time


• Drive safely and adhere to the UK Domestic Driving Rules
  
  Full clean UK driving licence


• Good level of customer service skills


• Experience driving larger vans (Luton/Lo Loader etc)


• Organised and strong attention to detail and accuracy
