Full Job Description

We have an opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain professional to join our team, to be responsible for partnering and collaborating with colleagues throughout the business, assisting them with making great buying decisions that drive commercial savings and provide excellent value.

Here are just some of the activities that you'll get involved in…

  • Ensure customer needs are met and our supply chain strategy is supported

  • Deliver tangible business benefits through sustainable cost reductions, operational supply management efficiencies and supplier performance improvement

  • Category and supplier management, from tendering to contract planning and negotiation.

  • Support and develop the overall Supply Chain's culture of continuous improvement

  • Develop and implement procurement and supplier performance monitoring

  • Manage long-term strategic relationships with suppliers

  • Supporting, mentoring and coaching of apprentices

    Extensive procurement / supply chain experience, that includes contract and supplier management is essential, as is being CIPS accredited (min level 5).


  • Substantial experience running tenders, reducing costs and building effective & productive relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.

    Demonstrative experience of conducting comparison analysis and producing recommendations.

    Commercial awareness, computer literacy and attention to detail are a pre-requisite.
