Full Job Description
- Accepting delivery of goods from suppliers
- Operating forklift and unloading and loading where required
- Ensuring all products are checked off in an accurate and timely manner along with checking for damages and quantities
- Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of materials from vehicles
- Keeping the yard clean and tidy
- Serving customers within the yard and warehouse along with processing sales and handling payments.
A good communicator that works well on his or her own initiative but also as part of a team. - Courteous and welcoming
- Positive can-do attitude
- Forklift licence an advantage but not essential as training can be provided
- Customer service orientated
- Knowledge of Building materials is advantageous however, training could be provided if required.
