Full Job Description

Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, the Stock Controller has an important role to play in maintaining accuracy of stock records ensuring the right product, in the right condition and quantity is available for delivery in the required time.,

  • Ensure 100% adherence to Health and Safety and COSHH procedures, identifying non-conformance and risks and reporting these to the line manager.

  • Communicate any stock issues and liaise with planning to place production orders, where necessary.

  • Investigate and interrogate 'lost stock' within the operation and report findings with a clear route cause.

  • Monitor and manage damaged and returned stock

  • Management of inventory, using SAP to control the on-time delivery of product.

  • Ensure accurate records are produced and maintained.

    Proven experience within a warehouse and transport environment

  • Computer literate with a good knowledge of SAP

  • Good written and verbal communication skills


  • Desirable skills and experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience within stock control
