Full Job Description

Join our Living Places team as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on our Sunderland & South Tyneside Framework where you'll deliver complex work that really matters to our business, and the world around you.,

  • Manage commercial team members including Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Administrators

  • Ensure accurate and robust management of Subcontractor accounts including overseeing any dispute resolution

  • Value maximisation including management of change control within main contract

  • Prepare Payment Applications and ensuring cash flow targets are met

  • Assist Project Team with Commercial analysis and guidance

  • Provide key support to the Contracts Manager and Head of Commercial in order to complete annual budget and monthly reforecast

  • Carry out profit and loss reporting and providing analysis to the Head of Commercial and Senior Leadership Team.

    Relevant professional qualifications and / or experience in Quantity Surveying

  • NEC3 Contract experience desirable

  • Civil Engineering/Highways background

  • Ability to generate, develop and manage Professional services agreements and obligation

  • A well-organised and self-motivated individual with good inter-personal skills.
