Full Job Description

The Neurology Directorate welcomes applications for Senior Clinical Fellows to join an expanding Neurology Service based across the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust. Our sites include New Cross Hospital, Cannock Hospital, the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford.
This post will be located in Shropshire, providing clinics at the Shawbirch Medical Practice, Telford Neurology Directorate, providing inpatient reviews on the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and Princess Royal Hospital in Telford as part of an inpatient rota.
The post holder will be working within a team of 8 Consultants, Specialist Trainees, Clinical Fellows, Core Trainees and Foundation Year Trainees as part of the Trust's Clinical Fellowship Programme., Qualifications - Please be advised that if the post that you are applying for requires any level of qualification (e.g. A-Levels, Degree etc) or Professional Registration (e.g. Nursing and Midwifery Council, General Medical Council etc) you will be required to provide proof as part of the pre-employment process. This post is advertised to seek applicants from candidates who wish to gain experience within Neurology providing outpatient clinics, ward cover, specialist in-patient reviews and procedures, audit and research. For candidates with more than 3 years of post-qualification experience, MRCP or equivalent qualifications or full time research experience, Senior Fellowship position can be offered.

To work at middle grade level providing a neurology inpatient and outpatient service alongside 8 Consultants. The service provides neurology services to patients in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire and Shropshire.
The post holder will have relevant skills and experience to meet the requirements of the Senior Clinical Fellow Role. There are opportunities to develop general neurology skills into a specialism of choice should candidates have a specific field of interest.
The post holder must live in the Shropshire county, or be able to travel to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital SY3 8XQ and the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford TF1 6TF. Shawbirch Medical Practice is TF5 0DU. Clinics are held at the Shawbirch Medical Practice, where a team of Consultants, Clinical Nurse Specialists and Clinical Neurophysiology Teams are based, alongside an administrative team.
