Full Job Description

Responsible for helping the company attract and retain customers through managing the ordering activity including the timely and accurate entry and processing of orders received, excellent customer service and comprehensive knowledge of the company's products and services., Handle client queries.

Provide quotes as requested.

Estimate shipping quotes as required.

Manage volume of inbound calls.

Building lasting relationships with clients to understand their needs, recommending suitable products or services.

Communicate with the Finance team to ensure quotes are converted to orders.

Track orders and keep customers informed on progress.

Work with the Supply Chain team to optimise inventory readiness and order fulfilment to ensure that maximum sales can be realised.

Process and track returns as required.

Deal with any customer issues.

Liaise with the After Sales team in terms of warranty issues.

Building a comprehensive knowledge of the company offer

Following up and updating customers about the latest offers and promotions

Researching prospective and existing clients for a better understanding of their needs.

Monitoring KPI's and preparing reports.

Any ad hoc duties as required.

Dimensions/Scope of the Job:

Customer base circa five thousand customers

Supplier base circa four hundred suppliers

Core range of products ranging in price from £100 - £10,000

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Good commercial maths skills.

Accurate and timely data entry skills

Experience in working with customers to resolve order issues.

Experienced with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Experience working with international companies (preferred).

Excellent attention to detail.

Specific Job Skills:

1-2 years of experience in a customer service data entry role.,
