Full Job Description

Applications are invited for the post of Health and Safety Officer within the Human Resources Health, Safety and Wellbeing Team based at Hutton Headquarters.

The purpose of this role is to support the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager to ensure compliance with health and Safety legislation and maintaining a safety culture in relation to operational policing and other Constabulary business in order to minimise risk of accidents, incidents, dangerous occurrences and risk of prosecution and litigation. To help design, implement and deliver health, safety and wellbeing interventions in line with the health, safety and wellbeing strategy.

The salary is based within an LC8 pay grade, however ,the department are open to allow candidates to commence the role at the top of the pay grade dependant on skills and experience.

Please note a condition of your appointment you must undergo and pass RV vetting.
