Full Job Description

We have a great opportunity to join the team as our Receptionist, where you will be responsible for ensuring a friendly and positive experience for all visitors and be the first point of contact for the business.

The role is part time working Monday to Friday 12.30pm-5.00pm, and is a shared role with the morning receptionist, so we require flexibility to be able to cover the morning due to holidays etc.

Here's a glimpse into what you'll be doing:

Be the first point of contact for visitors to the Company ensuring that they are made aware of the Company Policies and Procedures which will affect them on their visit (including smoking, health & safety, fire alarm etc) and are issued the relevant pass and directed to the correct person.
Operate the switchboard system in a professional and courteous manner, diverting calls to the correct destination, taking messages and relaying these as required.
Deal with all postal requirements ie incoming/outgoing mail, franking machine etc.
Assist with meeting requirements ie ordering buffets, refreshments etc.
Manage Hotel/Taxi bookings
Manage the stationery processes
Manage the hire/pool car booking process
Process expense requests in line with the Company Policy
Update various information into the HR Database
Assist with the departmental budgets ensuring that all expenditure is kept within agreed levels of cost and authorisation
Responsible for arranging Long Service Awards, approving sponsorship requests and eye tests
Managing and maintaining the content on the welcome 'totem' in the reception area

Ideally have previous reception and switchboard experience
