Projects Supervisor (UK & IRL)

We are looking for a Supervisor to manage and guide all Project Managers and Projects in the UK & Ireland to guarantee excellence in project delivery to all of our customers.
Your role:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the Desoutter project supply chain and activities of your team.


• Support the Desoutter Business Line by ensuring the PM team provides engineering & project excellence to internal and external customers.


• Working with your manager to Maximize profits for all projects while always seeking to increase margin and adding value to the project delivery.


• With your Manager lead regular Monthly or weekly project team meetings and work closely with the Service team and Desoutter Business line to enable clear communication on all projects.


• Working with your manager to track costings and invoicing on all UK & Ireland based projects to make sure they achieve the agreed financial targets.


• Work with your Project Team, ASMs and Technical team to produce quotations to satisfy customers' request for quotation.


• Review RFQ documents to make sure we do not compromise the exposure of our business by accepting Terms and Conditions that are onerous.
  
  The single most important aspect of this position is to be organized in a way that allows you to keep focus on all projects, which projects are coming up and how you manage your time and your team's time.


• Have an understanding and an ability to use technical/professional knowledge to fully understand customer's requirements.

• Ability to reason logically and to recognise assumptions to evaluate options and reach sound decisions.

Experience/Knowledge requirements:
The following requirements are essential:

• Excellent Microsoft Office and computer skills.


• Complex Project Management skills.


• Background in an Engineering or operations discipline.


• Previous use and understanding of Project Management Software.


• A UK work permit is required for this position.


• A full UK driving license is required for this position.


The following requirements are desirable :

• A degree or equivalent in Business or Engineering.


• Desoutter product knowledge.


• Professional Project Management qualification such as Prince2/Btec.
