BAM Site Solutions are recruiting a Production Operative to based at our Wellingborough Depot.

Working within a multi-skilled production team and closely with the Production Team Leader, this role has a strong focus on the fullment of customer orders through the production facility including printed signage and the application of company branded logos to various safety products. In addition to production, the role involves the picking, packing and despatching of orders from existing stock within a warehouse environment.

This is a full time role working Monday to Friday.

Your mission



  • Using various printing machinery for the production of signage and printed goods as specified that meets the requirements of each customer order


  • Assisting in the application of company branded logos to safety products and workwear in accordance with style guidelines set by each customer


  • Ensuring all products despatched to our customers meet our high quality standards


  • Processing goods received from suppliers ensure that both quality of product and reconciliation to the original purchase order are maintained


  • Picking products required for customer orders and packaging ready for despatch


  • Booking delivery slots with couriers to ensure deliveries leave our warehouse on time


  • Assisting in the counting of stock and reporting of discrepancies to the Production Team Leader


  • Maintaining records and accurate filing systems
    Operational


  • Use of signage printing equipment to produce signage on various materials


  • Use of embroidery machines to apply customer logos to garments


  • Application of heat applied transfers to garments



  • Production of heat applied transfers using a plotter cutter


  • Picking of PPE and garments from picking notes to fulfil customer orders


  • Packing orders ready for despatch


  • Booking deliveries in with our courier partners


  • Receiving and counting goods in from suppliers

    Technical


  • Operating printing equipment


  • Operating Roland plotter/Cutter CAD Cut Printer


  • Strong knowledge of IT systems and office 365


  • Ability to input data into our computer system RentalResult


  • Updating of department shared files

    Who are we looking for?



  • Previous experience in a printing or production environment is desirable, although full training will be provided.


  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Microsoft applications is essential and previous experience working with image files is desirable


  • Experience in a similar warehouse/production environment with the picking and packing of goods


  • Ability to understand and work to the BAM values
