Full Job Description

'CAT employs rolling recruitment methodologies, with shortlisting and interviews for some roles taking place as and when applications are received. This may mean that some roles are recruited to before the closing date, and therefore advise that applications are made without undue delay'.

Carlton Academy Trust (CAT) was formed in 2019 out of the success of Carlton Bolling an 'Outstanding' rated inner-city Bradford secondary school. It has undergone rapid growth and currently has three secondary, three primary schools, and two special schools, educating just under 5000 students. The trust aspires to the highest standards, with the aspiration that all its schools are rated 'Outstanding'

The Trust is a good place to work with a happy, friendly, open culture which seeks to support and develop. Staff are encouraged to be leaders and pro-actively develop practice, taking innovative approaches where necessary to ensure provision is the very best it can be. Although recognising the importance of each, CAT prefers character and potential to experience and skills, looking to recruit people who with support and training will attain the very highest standards.

We are looking to appoint an ambitious practitioner who is keen to advance their career in a leadership role. This is a new role leading SEND provision across all three trust primary schools, Marshfield, Carlton Mills, and Thorpe. This would suit an ambitious, high-quality SEND professional who would aspire to the highest standards of SEND practice in line with the trust ethos of 'Excellence for All'. To help facilitate these standards and ensure an uninterrupted focus on SEND standards, this role has no classroom teaching commitment.

Employee welfare is important to us and see them as the Trust's prime asset. Therefore, we look after our staff and offer a comprehensive range of employee benefits through our Carlton Cares programme.
