Full Job Description

Gardner Wealth Management, a St. James's Place Partner Practice in Northumberland is looking to appoint an enthusiastic administrator to join our growing team.
Our Practice is highly successful and prides itself on offering a first-class service to all our clients, providing them with a range of investment and retirement products and solutions to meet their financial goals and objectives.

Team fit is important to us, and we have a positive approach to work/life balance, so we are looking for like-minded individuals

Hybrid working is an option with 2-3 days a week available for WFH, after initial 'settling in' period.

You will be providing technical expertise to support and assist in this process, through undertaking detailed research and analysis of a wide variety of financial planning solutions.

The Role:

  • You will be a friendly, efficient, and professional point of contact for clients and third parties dealing with general enquiries

  • You will assist in producing compliant financial planning reports for our Financial Advisers/Partners to present to clients

  • You will be responsible for business submission using bespoke software

  • You will be transacting client investments ensuring supporting documentation and back-office systems are updated

  • You will need to ensure that all business is being processed accurately and client files remain compliant at all times.


  • You will have the opportunity to progress within the SJP Accreditation framework.

    Further progression opportunities within the Practice may be available for the right candidate.

    This is an interesting and challenging role that would suit a confident, numerate, and professional individual who enjoys using their initiative and who has a "can do" working style.
  • Having experience in a Financial Services administrative role would be an advantage, although not essential

  • You should be a highly motivated individual who shows initiative and enthusiasm

  • You should have excellent communication skills, are confident in liaising with third parties and can work with total discretion

  • You should have strong IT skills and adapt efficiently to new systems

  • You will be employed by the Practice and full training and support will be provided.
