Personal Assistant / Carer

An individual living in Melton Mowbray LE13 area requires a PA (female PA required due to tasks involved) to support initially for 2 hours per week, with the potential of increasing to 3 hours per week as trust is built.

Preferred support to be on a Tuesday, Thursday, Friday or Sunday, to be discussed with employer. Please note the day must remain consistent so if the working day is a Tuesday, then that must be the day each week, where possible.

Tasks: You will be supporting an individual with a learning disability, some behavioural issues when feeling anxious. Initially to develop trust, so to begin with the visits may involve building a rapport. Once relationship established, client will then need some support and encouragement to have a shower (shower room in situ). The P.A. will also need to support with some domestic tasks - like changing the bedsheets, helping with paperwork and providing emotional support - as client does need reassurance when fixated on something.

The ideal person will be resilient, reliable, proactive and have relevant previous experience. This is a long-term part-time role.
