Part Time Room Attendant

The Villa, Hotel, Levens Award winning, 4 Stars and 2 AA Rosette is a 140 year old Victorian house that has been fully restored into a 22 bedroom luxury hotel. Is looking to recruit Room Attendants 2, 3, 4 and 5 days per week including weekends

(8am/9am - 3pm/4pm) to join our housekeeping team.

Located in the South Lake, our venue is furnished to a 5 star standard with the Brettargh Suite for ceremonies and smaller functions and a spectacular purpose built marquee Pavilion for all occasions which can hold up to 250 guest. With a choice of 2 restaurants from fine dining to casual. The property is set in 14 acres of parkland and truly has the wow factor.

• Must be responsible, fit and healthy, reliable, loyal, trustworthy, good character candidate that can work well in a team.


• To carry out all aspects of the 'Housekeeper/ Room Attendant' duties in line with your training from The Housekeeping Manager and/ or Supervisor/s.


• To report directly and to follow instruction from The Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor in a polite and courteous, and professional manner at all times.


• To clean guest bedrooms and bathrooms including re-making beds, making fresh beds, dusting, polishing, hoovering, replenishing guest tea/ coffee trays, cleaning bathrooms thoroughly - all to a very clean, neat and presentable hotel standard.


• Report any maintenance issues to The Housekeeping Manager/ Supervisor.


• To undertake initial and ongoing training provided by The Housekeeping Manager/ Supervisor.


• To stock cleaning trolleys of necessary linen, guest supplies.


• All Statutory Holiday Entitlements calculated according to hours worked.


• Long term position for the right candidate.


• Experience not essential as training will be provided.


• References may be required.


• No live in accommodation available.
