Paintshop Manager

The purpose of this role is to ensure that all protective coatings (i.e. multi-coat paint systems, primer, intumescent, sealer paints) are being applied in accordance with the applicable specification. Alongside paint operations, this role will have oversight of the paint QA team; they will accurately, concisely, and objectively report and advise on the results of all coating integrity inspections.

This role requires a close working relationship with key stakeholders; estimating, drawing office, production, despatch, project management and construction, and good interpersonal skills are essential. We are looking for a well-rounded individual; competent in paint technical support, experience leading a large team and resource planning - allowing us to maintain our ability to meet customer needs with the appropriate quality of product.

We are looking for someone who has experience in a painting environment, with ideally a background in Manufacturing, Paint Supply or Inspection.

Working hours are Monday - Friday 07:00 - 15:00.
