Full Job Description

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an Office Manager to join our team. We are looking for somebody who shares a passion for enriching lives through adventure with office skills and experience. Own transport essential due to location., As our Office Manager, you will be the welcoming face and efficient engine of our operations. As a small team of 23, we promote cross-department working where necessary to cover absences. This teamwork mentality is essential. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Answering phone calls and emails promptly and courteously, providing excellent customer service to prospective and current clients.

  • Managing bookings efficiently through our online booking system (Cinolla), ensuring that each client finds their perfect outdoor experience.

  • Processing booking details and payments accurately and in a timely manner and maintaining meticulous records of all financial transactions.

  • Keeping up-to-date budget records and processing income and expenditure invoicing via our online accounting package (EVision).

  • Collaborating closely with our fantastic staff team to ensure seamless coordination of activities.

  • Ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently and retains all the necessary equipment.

    We're seeking a candidate who is organised and detail-oriented and also shares our passion for outdoor education and community enrichment. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate our 5 culture values (brilliance, invested, professional family, own it & growth). Skills required:


  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-centric attitude.

  • Exceptional organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.

  • Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word and Sharepoint) and booking software.

  • Previous experience in customer service or office management roles preferred, but not required.

  • The ability to see tasks and offer new ways to improve systems that increases proficiency.

  • Experience of working in the outdoor sector preferred.
