Full Job Description

  • Utilising your mechanical knowledge to carry out repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, including clutch replacement and cam belt replacement

  • Effectively and productively service and maintain customer vehicles from brake pads and tyres to oil and filter checks

  • Complete minor electrical work as and when required

  • Meet and discuss the vehicle and repairs needed with the customer when necessary

  • Mentor apprentices and support less experienced team members

  • Ability to complete a Vehicle Health Check


    • What will you need to succeed in the role:
  • Technical knowledge to allow you to confidently and safely carry out repairs and maintenance of customer vehicles

  • Demonstrate capability and confidence in using equipment within the workshop

  • Mentor & Coach apprentices and support less experienced team members

    As a skilled vehicle technician, you must hold skills and knowledge to undertake both minor and major mechanical faults (including engine repairs) and return vehicles back to manufacturer specification and standards.

    • We are welcoming applications from Technicians who are NVQ level 2/3 trained or equivalent and have experience working within a busy garage. Also MOT tester qualification is preferred but not essential.
    You will require a Full UK drivers' licence and have your own tools
